School's out, but the studio is still as busy as ever.
Our Barre program is growing, with most classes having a wait list. Rebecca is working on adding classes to our Barre schedule and onboarding several of our recent graduates from the teaching training program.
Our second cohort of the Yoga Teacher Training program is graduating this month. These graduates have spent one weekend a month over the last six months studying yogic philosophy and psychology, as well as the mechanics of teaching yoga. Look for them to relocate their map to the front of the room.
Union Point Sunrise Yoga has started. Classes are held every Wednesday and Friday, weather permitting, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
The studio will be celebrating International Yoga Day with a special day of classes on Saturday, June 27th. Look for more information and registration links in the coming weeks.
Transcendent Wellness is proud to be a sponsor of the Run For Shelter on June 14th. Come out and run/walk in support of Coastal Center for Hope and Healing (formerly Coastal Women's Shelter). Our own Sheena Szuri and Amanda Smith will be leading the warm-up and cool-down stretches.
We have several workshops coming up this month:
Growing Together: Navigating Puberty Workshop with Michele on Saturday, June 7th.
Empower Your Food Journey Workshop with Wendy on Saturday, June 14th.
For more information on any of these workshops, please check out our schedule.
The Pilates program is expanding. We are in the process of purchasing an additional reformer to increase class capacity. This will bring our class capacity to seven reformers and hopefully address some of the waitlist congestion. We are also trying to determine how to configure the room to accommodate an additional reformer.
Finally, our Christmas in July Sale is just around the corner. Great opportunity to snag some discounts on memberships, class packs, therapeutic services, and merchandise.
